The duties E-learning Coordinator
1- Train the Faculty Members on the following topics:
• Accessing e-learning system by the following link (http://lms.nu.edu.sa).
• Dealing with the Blackboard (Bb)homepage.
• Accessing the personal information of the Faculty Member on the system.
• Activating the e-mail of the Faculty Member on the system so that he/she can send messages to students by e-mail.
• Creating announcements that allows the lecturer to inform students of all what is being activated on the Blackboard.
• Uploading the educational content files of the course on the Blackboard system as text files , PowerPoint , audio and video and others.
• Creating assignments on the Blackboard and showing how the students solve and send them to the Faculty Member , as well as how they are evaluated .
• Creating an electronic test on the Blackboard system and how the students do the test.
• learning how to help students know their tests and assignments estimates obtained on the Blackboard.
• Dealing with the discussions panel on the Blackboard system .
• Learning how to determine the extent of the students interaction with the Blackboard system.
• Identifying the virtual classroom system (Blackboard Collaborate) ,how to create a virtual classroom and how to manage an online lecture and deal with students inside the virtual classroom.
• Identifying recording lectures system (echo) and how to record, save and index audio and video lectures to give the student the opportunity to access these lectures more than once and watch them at any time in addition to downloadingthem on his computer.
2- Train the students on the following topics:
• Accessing e-learning system by the following link (http://lms.nu.edu.sa).
• Dealing with the Blackboard (Bb )homepage.
• Accessing the personal information of the student on the system.
• Activating the e-mail of the student on the Blackboard system.
• Accessing the announcements that the lecturer created on the Blackboard.
• Downloading the educational content files of the course created by the lecturer on the
Blackboard system such as text files , PowerPoint , audio and video and others.
• Doing a test on the Blackboard and knowing the test result .
• Doing assignments on the Blackboard and sending them to the lecturer.
• Knowing the results of their tests and assignments done on the Blackboard .
• Dealing with the discussions panel on the Blackboard system.
• How to playback the previously recorded lectures by the lecturer .
• Accessing the virtual classroom system (Blackboard Collaborate) and dealing with the virtual
classroom interface .
